The short version
FilmFold works entirely on your device. Your photos and videos are captured, developed and stored locally on your iPhone. FilmFold has no account or media cloud and does not collect, transmit, sell or share your photos, videos, personal data or advertising identifiers.
Data stored on your device
FilmFold stores the photos and videos you capture or import, along with their development settings (the “negative”), in the app's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or save it using iOS sharing features.
Permissions
FilmFold requests access to your camera and microphone to take photos and record videos, and to your photo library to import images for development and, only when you ask, save developed results. These permissions are used solely for those features.
Purchases
FilmFold Pro is purchased directly through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the transaction and payment; FilmFold does not receive or store your payment information. The app reads Apple's signed purchase entitlements on your device to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
Analytics and tracking
FilmFold does not include analytics, advertising or attribution SDKs, does not access an advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
FilmFold does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
